An exquisite European Spruce Top contrasted with Brazilian or Indian Rosewood and given an oil finish produces a guitar of outstandingly musical and visual beauty.
The neck is Brazilian Cedar and features a 'V' joint at the head. Fingerboard is Ebony and the scale length is 650mm with a 52mm width at the nut, 62mm at the twelfth fret. Every rosette is individually made and the woods used complement the purflings and bindings. Instruments have a beautiful Oiled finish however French Polish or Lacquer is an option for those who prefer.
Rodgers machine heads are always used.
Kevin Aram grew up in the coal mining village of Clipstone in Nottingham, England. Kevin started his guitar making career repairing and restoring instruments. This gave him the opportunity to examine some of the finest instruments in the world. Aram Guitars was established in 1978. Kevin has concentrated on making guitars in the tradition of Torres and Hauser.

Kevin's best known customer is Julian Bream they were introduced to each other by George Clinton of Guitar International fame. Kevin says that his guitars are known for their beauty, playability, reliability, projection and above all their musicality.
